They may provide transportation to Dr. Coker's office, but you'll have to request it. At the airport, you just pick up the Holiday Inn phone to request pick-up.

There is no airport transportation so you will need a car or a taxi to get to and from the airport. It is approximately 2 miles to Dr. Rick Coker's Smile Studio .

Wingate Inn, 2421 ESE Loop 323, Tyler, TX 75703. Phone: (903) 566-0600. The Wingate rooms are nice, but there is no airport transportation. If you have a car, you'll be fine. This hotel is approximately 4 miles from Dr. Rick Coker's Smile Studio .

Comfort Inn, 303 E. Reick Rd., Tyler, TX 75703. Phone: (903) 534-0999. New hotel approximately 1 mile from Dr. Coker's office.

Candlewood Suites, 315 E. Reick Rd., Tyler, TX 75703. Phone: (903) 509-4131. New hotel approximately 1 mile from Dr. Coker's office.

Kiepersol Estates. Phone: (903) 894-3300. This hotel is not close to Dr. Coker's office, but it is an elegant "bed and breakfast" located about 30 minutes away. It is very nice and romantic. There are only five rooms available so if you're interested, check it out ahead of time.

Directions

Tyler is a two-hour drive EAST from the Dallas/Fort Worth airport (DFW) or a $180 taxi ride. One person has actually ridden the Greyhound Bus from Dallas, but doesn't recommend it. :-)

Tyler is a 90-minute drive WEST of the Shreveport airport .

Tyler is a four-hour drive NORTH of Houston/Bush airport .

You can fly directly into Tyler on American Eagle through DFW or on a Continental subsidiary through Houston.

Car rentals at Tyler Pounds Field range from $18/day to $30/day. Vendors include National, Alamo, and Advantage . ( Note about Pounds Field Car Rentals: The car rental counters close at 8:30 PM. If you will be later, you must make arrangements with your rental company or you will not get your car until the next day.)
